I really enjoy studying French. I started studying French on my own for fun and I'm now studying it at school (as well as for fun). One of my first sources I used for learning French was Coffee Break French, a podcast out of Écosse (Scotland). Podcasts are such a cool resource for learning (free! Yes, legal and free = très bien! Below are some links to free resources for learning French:
- http://coffeebreakfrench.com/ J'aime ce podcast! Il est très bien! I like to listen to this when I'm getting ready to go to sleep.
- http://french.about.com/ This site has some fun stuff on it, like the mot du jour and the fêtes du jour.
- http://translate.google.com/# Google translate is fun and useful. Translators are not always accurate, since they translate literally, but it can still be a helpful resource. Warning: Don't type your French assignment in English and then push the translate button and expect to get a 100%.
- http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/ Here are some cool resources from BBC Languages.
I hope this helps anyone interested in language learning. Bonne chance!
