Dear Victoria’s Secret,
Somehow I was put on your mailing list, as I recently received a catalog. I would like to be taken off of the list and here is some of my reasoning for this decision:
You clearly use women’s bodies to sell your products. You can argue this if you wish, but your very own storefront is enough to prove any rebuttal lacking (lacking…kind of like the clothes on many of your models). This is very disappointing to me, especially as some of your fragrances smell so wonderful and some of your clothes and underwear are quite cute. However, your advertising focus on nearly-naked models does the opposite of what you wish. I find it very disrespectful to the models as well as anyone passing by your store.
I would like to be removed from your mailing list please. I was going to take myself off via your website, but the form I found to “reduce mailings” requires all kinds of unnecessary information such as email and telephone number. Frankly, that’s none of your business.
Since you are a business and rely on customers and potential-customers for your income, I thought it could be beneficial for you to know my feelings regarding your advertisement and products.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Barbara
